What a cruel Virginia summer to be pregnant! There have been enough heat waves, severe thunderstorms and power outages to make labor look kind. And Julie, bless her heart, is a trooper.
It was a good shoot for playing indoors so we began with one of two-year old Cole’s very favorite things to play with: his train table. What I love, love, love about these photos is that you can actually see him saying, “Choo choo!” pretty much the whole time.
And there was a little clowning…
As well as some belly cuddling just for momma and baby sis.
While we did take a few pictures at the park across the street, we dissed that idea pretty quickly and headed for the sprinkler in the backyard instead. Cole loves to help out and water the plants.
And hey lil’ Man, when you are finished with your car, I’ve got a dirty one out front. What do you say?
“No” to washing Mel’s car but an emphatic “yes” to bubbles!
I’m awaiting some good news from this family any day now and can’t wait to see Cole with his new baby sister. It was the perfect way to pass a not-so-perfect summer day and I’m so excited to be working with such a sweet family during this exciting time in their lives.
