Happy New Year, one and all! Its going to be an exciting year for us at Worthington Photography, we’re gearing up for some seriously hard work and radical change so stay tuned. We’re not ready to make any announcements just yet but goodness is on the horizon and we think you’ll be pleased…
If you are anything like me, January 2nd hits and you are so over all things Christmas. Enough with the lights and the music already, box it up because that was sooooo last year. But I have to ask you for an extension since I still have two awesome sets of family photos to share from the holiday season. Its OK to be done with the decor but keep lovin’ on the lovin’!
Baby Lucy has the most striking blue eyes against her dark hair, isn’t she just gorgeous?
Tag earned the nickname “photo bomber” from Kathy, I admit that I have never met a pup quite like him. While Atticus was happy to hang back stage, Tag needed to be in every shot and he literally is in most all of them – somewhere – whether you can see him hidden behind the furniture or not. It became a fun game between us actually, playing “Hide the Dog in this Shot”, and if you look closely you’ll find a random ear or tail when he won. We couldn’t decide if he was protecting the family by jumping into everything or if he is just a camera ham!
I loved photographing Lucy playing with her parents in her nursery. What is it about becoming parents that also makes us want to eat feet? And why is feet eating so funny?
Lucy only wants to sleep on Daddy, I got some sleepy baby shots as she dozed off in Dave’s arms.
After a brief nap, we reconvened downstairs for some family shots by the tree. Once again, Tag was more than happy to oblige…
Lucy is so smiley and sweet, I can’t wait to watch her grow over this year. Here’s the gallery and a slideshow, set to the song Kathy and Dave had playing as Lucy was born. I’ve gotta feeling… that this year’s going to be a good year!
